Very Good Gardening at Smallfields

Post 5: 2021

For most of my What Went Well Wednesdays I will be more specific. But how could I not start out with the whole year, 2021?

We started off with a few radishes but quickly turned into strawberry central.

Then we moved on to peas, basil, and some broccoli but still kicking out hundreds of strawberries.

Peppers, peppers and more peppers!

Don’t forget tomatoes.

Cucumbers to snack and to make Uncle Frank’s Bread and Butter Pickles.

We got beans all summer long.

We are still eating green beans from our freezer

And last, but certainly not least, Melons!

This one was 25 pounds
So good. So juicy.

I am incredibly grateful for all of the success that the 2021 garden brought my family. I’m not sure how just yet, but I’m looking to make 2022 even better.
